The Body Leads the Way is a live 8-week somatic journey into, self-discovery, and connection. Rooted in the mind-body connection, somatic wisdom and trauma-informed care, this course gently invites you back into relationship with your body. Together, in community with others, we’ll explore practices that help you feel safer inside yourself, deepen self-trust, and unwind what no longer needs to be held — through a holistic, embodied, and integrative approach — all at your own pace.
This is more than education — it’s a lived experience of personal transformation. Through the wisdom of your body, you’ll uncover deeper truths, cultivate lasting inner resources, and move toward a felt sense of safety, connection, and well-being.

THE BODY LEADS THE WAY is a live 8 week course for individuals to explore healing with and in community with others. The course teaches you a trauma-informed, embodied education, holistic and body-mind based unified approach to self-discovery and healing for personal transformation. This course offers modalities and techniques for you to sense and regulate your own physiology and states of being. This includes building more internal and external resources, building trusting and co-regulatory relationships, learning to turn inward with curiosity & compassion, being invited deeper in the body, and given time and space to process stored stress and trauma. Individuals can begin to cultivate a deeper sense of safety within their bodies, rediscovering safety within ourselves.. These somatic techniques unwind trauma and restore well being.
Modalities include Somatic Trauma Therapy, Somatic Parts Work, Healing Intergenerational Trauma, Somatic EMDR, Somatic Anxiety Therapy, Somatic Attachment Therapy, and Meditation.
Within this course, my heartfelt intention is to offer a space where you can heal and grow with safety, dignity, and belonging. This space is created especially for: my LGBTQ+ family, and for all who carry the weight of discrimination — whether based on race, color, culture, religion, age, class, ability, or gender. You are welcome here, fully and wholly.
Rather than rushing to find quick fixes or temporary solutions, we can embrace our symptoms as opportunities for growth and understanding. They hold the key to unlocking the wisdom stored within our bodies, leading us towards a more profound connection with ourselves and our innate capacity for healing.
Coming home to your body after experiencing emotional trauma is a profound act of self-care and healing. It involves slowing down, tuning in, and creating a safe space within yourself to explore the layers of pain and resilience held in your body. By reconnecting with your physical sensations, emotions, and breath, you begin to rebuild a sense of trust and safety within yourself. It's a journey that requires patience, compassion, and a deep commitment to your well-being. As you navigate this path, you may unearth buried memories, release held tension, and learn to listen to the wisdom that your body holds. Through this process of somatic exploration and gentle presence, you can slowly start to reweave the fabric of your being, finding a new sense of wholeness and integration.

What You Will Learn
Over 8 weeks, you'll be gently guided to develop embodied skills that support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and inner connection. You will learn how to:

Recognize and track your body’s signals (sensations, impulses, emotions) as trustworthy guides

Understand your nervous system states — how they shape your reactions, patterns, and relationships

Regulate stress, overwhelm, anxiety, and freeze states using somatic tools that meet you where you are

Build embodied safety from the inside out

Develop curiosity and compassion toward the parts of you that hold pain, fear, or survival strategies

Co-regulate with others, allowing relationships to become safe places of healing and repair

Process stored stress and trauma somatically, without needing to relive the past

Reconnect with your sense of wholeness, agency, and belonging through grounded presence

INSIDE THE COURSE
THE BODY LEADS THE WAY is a live 8-week course where we will explore how unresolved stress & trauma is stored in the body and learn practical tools to release tension, regulate the nervous system, and cultivate a sense of safety and connection within ourselves.
Through a combination of educational materials, experiential exercises, Q&A's and group discussions, you will gain valuable insights and skills to support your ongoing healing process.
Our sessions will cover topics such as polyvagal theory, early attachment relationships, embodiment practices, breath-work, mediation, and somatic experiencing techniques. You will have the opportunity to explore your unique somatic patterns, gain awareness of how past experiences may be impacting your present reality, and learn how to navigate your internal landscape with curiosity, compassion and resilience.
