Getting Started

I’m new to yoga. Which class should I take?

Welcome! Our Mindful Movement, Vin Yin, Mixed Vinyasa Flow and Restorative classes are great for beginners. Instructors offer modifications in all classes to meet you where you are.

 

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing a yoga mat, water bottle, and an open mind. Some classes suggest props like blankets or blocks—we provide a limited number, or you can bring your own.

 

What should I wear?

Comfortable, breathable clothing that allows a full range of motion and for you to move freely. No shoes are worn during practice.

Arrival + Scheduling

When should I arrive?

We ask that you arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before class begins. Plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early to get settled.

Do I need to register in advance? 

Yes. We recommend pre-registering online as space is limited and classes can fill up quickly. This helps us keep things flowing smoothly and ensures you have a spot.

What if I'm running late? We lock the door at the start of class to keep everyone’s belongings and practice space safe. Plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early to get settled.​

What’s your cancellation policy?

Regular classes: Cancel at least 1 hour before class to avoid being charged or lose class credit.
Pop-Ups, Events & Workshops: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance via text or email for a refund or credit.

I’m having trouble signing up online—can I just show up?

Yes. If you’d rather register in person, please arrive at least 15 minutes before class starts. Bring a credit card or exact cash.

Membership + Pricing

Do you offer memberships or class packs?

Yes! We offer monthly memberships, drop-in rates, and multi-class packs. Visit our Rates & Plans page for details.

Can I pause or cancel my membership?

Absolutely. Just let us know with at least 5 days’ notice before your next billing cycle.

Are somatic classes included in yoga packages?

No. Somatic classes, events, workshops and courses are not included and are  separate from yoga classes purchased through monthly memberships, drop-ins or multi-class packs. For more information on Somatic classes, events, workshops or courses visit our Events page for upcoming somatic events or for details.

Do you offer discounts?

Absolutely — discounts are available for seniors, military, and educators on class packs (5, 10,) and full-price monthly memberships. All we ask is that you provide a valid ID or a school badge for educators.

Note: Discounts don’t apply to drop-ins or already-discounted offers like the Unlimited Yoga For Educators.

What’s the vibe of the studio?

Grounded, inclusive, and supportive. Whether you’re here to slow down, sweat, or reconnect with yourself—you’re welcome.

 

Do you have showers or changing rooms?
We offer a changing area and restroom, but no showers.

Is the studio heated?

No. All of our classes are conducted at a comfortable room temperature.

Do you offer group classes?

Yes, we offer group classes by appointment.
These sessions are intentionally crafted to support shared presence, nervous system regulation, and meaningful connection—whether you're gathering for wellness, professional development, healing, or community building.

Ideal for workplaces, peer groups, retreats, educational settings, sports teams or any group seeking a grounded, embodied experience. Each class is tailored to meet the specific needs and intentions of your group.
